In great news for newspaper editors and terrible news for some insurance company somewhere, a fireworks factory in the small Colombian town of Granada exploded yesterday, blowing up several thousand New Year’s Eve-surplus firecrackers and knocking the guy filming it on his ass.
Further footage shows people engaging in the time-honoured tradition of rubbernecking, including a guy with a kid on his shoulders walking towards the sound of God eating Pop Rocks because people can be very silly sometimes.
Happily, no-one died and only one person was injured, so unlike that time when a fireworks factory explosion killed like twenty people in Istanbul, it’s basically fine to make jokes about this one.
