Billionaire Tech Genius Elon Musk Has Accidentally Invented The Bus
Truly visionary, except it's existed for several centuries.
Elon Musk has had a brainwave. Through a combination of Extreme Genius, technical expertise and cash dollars, he’s come up with an urban transportation system with “thousands of small stations the size of a single parking space that take you very close to your destination and blend seamlessly into the fabric of a city, rather than a small number of big stations like a subway”.
That’s right: Elon Musk has invented the bus.
Boring Co urban loop system would have 1000’s of small stations the size of a single parking space that take you very close to your destination & blend seamlessly into the fabric of a city, rather than a small number of big stations like a subway

Every 2 or 3 weeks, a tech guy accidentally invents the concept of the city bus.

To be sure, it’s not just a regular bus: it’s spooky and high-tech and travels in underground tubes at extremely high speeds. Here’s an extremely futuristic video of how that might look:
Better video coming soon, but it would look a bit like this: pic.twitter.com/C0iJPi8b4U

Take away the glowing lights and the (frankly unrealistic) system of huge tunnels underneath the entire city, though, and it’s undeniably… just a bus. Except unlike the many city buses that are run by the government so as to remain relatively cheap and accessible, this one is run by an enormous, for-profit private corporation.
People think it's a big joke when tech bros like Elon Musk try to reinvent city buses. They know about buses. They want to take control of public transportation and put it in private hands. They want to exclude the poor and disabled for "efficiency" and take a cut of the savings.

In short, then, Elon Musk has possibly managed to make buses worse? The future looks bright.
Because blue
