Elon Musk Is Now Beefing With Bernie Sanders Because He Wants To Tax The Rich
It didn't go so well for Elon.
Billionaire Elon Musk is sliming up Twitter and this time his target is Senator Bernie Sanders.
After Sanders tweeted his now well-established belief that the wealthy should be fairly taxed, Musk tweeted his reply to the US politician, “I keep forgetting that you’re still alive.” An hour later, Musk replied again, tweeting, “Want me to sell more stock, Bernie? Just say the word.”

Musk already offloaded a combined $US6.9 billion worth of Tesla shares as of November 12. However, Musk persisted in trolling in Bernie Sanders’ mentions. “Ok, how much do you think is fair? Does 53 percent seem reasonable?” tweeted Musk.
Sanders did not respond. When a Twitter user pointed this out to Musk, Musk tweeted, “How do we know he hasn’t been kidnapped by aliens!?”

For the record, Musk would absolutely be included in the category of “extremely wealthy.” As of the 15th of November, he has a net worth of at least $266.9 billion dollars, according to Forbes. He is the second richest billionaire in the world, behind only Jeff Bezos.
The Twitter beef isn’t out of the blue though. The tweet from Mr Sanders comes after the US Senate Democrats unveiled a proposal to tax billionaires’ stocks to help finance President Joe Biden’s social spending agenda. The proposal would also close a loophole that has allowed the super-wealthy to defer capital gains taxes indefinitely.

Musk continued to sound off in Bernie’s mentions, explaining to one Twitter user why he was more in favour of estate tax. Also, he also remained on the thread for a few hours to agree with people who agreed with him.
When asked how long he was going to spend on his thread, Musk responded, “I like to dig my grave real deep.” Okay, Elon.
I like to dig my grave real deep ??

Musk finished up Monday by tweeting what can only be described as the worst joke of all time:
Due to inflation 420 has gone up by 69

But no one, no one, came close to this savagery:
