Elon Musk Says He Didn’t Even Want To Go To The Berghain In The First Place
Musk has denied rumours he wasn't let into the infamously exclusive club
The mysterious requirements for uber-exclusive Berlin club The Berghain have deepened, after Telsa billionaire Elon Musk was rumoured to have been refused entry.
Musk visited the club while partying in Berlin over the weekend, but took umbrage over a ‘PEACE’ slogan written somewhere on the building and “refused enter”.

For the uninitiated, The Berghain serves as one of Berlin’s most esteemed nightclubs. It’s common place to party over several days in the straight-friendly gay club, with people queuing for kilometres in an attempt to get in. Entry into the club is far from guaranteed with local wisdom predominantly suggesting that speaking German and wearing black is the best holistic methods for being approved.
So far it’s speculative as to whether Musk was actually denied entry from the club or if he simply refused to enter based on the aforementioned PEACE slogan. Musk further obfuscated the situation by posting a video from Baz Luhrmann’s Romeo + Juliet while ruminating on the semiology of the peace symbol.

Personally, I think a city that has historically been a flashpoint for several earth-shattering conflicts — and is currently embarking on one of the most ambitious multicultural projects after re-settling more than one million Syrian refugees — should be permitted to embellish a couple of PEACE slogans.
Today, Musk also announced that he has purchased 9.2 percent of the total shares in Twitter, making him the largest public shareholder of the social media platform. Maybe this means that having shares in Twitter is the key to getting into Berghain? Only time will tell.
