Ducks Absolutely Annihilating Bowls Of Peas Is The Newest — And Best — Trend On The Internet
Ducks love peas.
I love ducks.
In my mind, they are the most polite of the farmyard animals. There’s something about the way they waddle, not to mention their reserved, clipped honks, that reminds me of a pack of grandmothers, wandering all over the place in a gaggle and fussing themselves over their handbags.
Which is not to say that ducks don’t go absolutely fucken’ crazy sometimes, as demonstrated by this extremely viral clip of some ducks deciding that the only thing they want in the entire world is a bowl of peas filled up with water.
I mean, just watch:
When you visit the park to feed the ducks please feed them peas, not bread??? pic.twitter.com/u7pIp1zzSN

The clip has gone viral on Twitter a few times over the last year or so — every time it gets posted, it inspires a new wave of memes.

The only kind of Mukbang I've consistently enjoyed watching is ducks eating peas

Moreover, this Twitter video isn’t just an isolated work of art. As people are rapidly discovering, there is in fact an entire sub-genre of YouTube videos that depict nothing more than ducks getting their fill of peas and other assorted vegetables.
And you know what? They all rule.
there's a whole genre of YouTube videos that's just ducks going to town on bowls of peas and I don't know if it's just the lockdown brain talking but…I think they might be the best films ever made?

Oh and hey, just to break the trend, here’s a video of ducklings eating a hollowed-out watermelon, just for you:
Truly we do not deserve this graceful, pea-hungry creatures.
