Another Year, Another Stack Of DJs Gleefully Roasting The DJ Mag Top 100
"I killed in the DJ mag poll this year, and by killed it, I mean I didn’t buy the $50k advertising package I was offered to be apart of it."

Over the weekend, DJ Mag revealed the results of their annual poll of the world’s top 100 DJs, with Dutch producer Martin Garrix taking out the top spot for the third year in a row.
Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike came in at #2 (again, the same position as last year), with Hardwell, Armin van Buuren, and David Guetta rounding out the top five.
Aussie duo Nervo are the highest locals on the list at #27 (as well as being the highest placed female entry), while MaRLo and Alison Wonderland also make appearances further down the ranking.
As always, there were some questionable moments: revered selectors like Nina Kraviz and Paul Kalkbrenner only just scraped into the rankings, while frat boy duo The Chainsmokers came in at #31 (that said, they did fall 25 places from last year’s poll.)
And, as bloody always, the results of the poll have people divided. A number of dance acts have gleefully roasted the results, with artists such as Jauz and Dillon Francis heartily dunking on the very existence of the poll.
Update – Calvin Harris, Zedd, Diplo all under top 30…. LOL
Unless Dj Diesel is in the top 10 there’s no redemption from this years list

isn’t funny how DJ mag top 100 has changed from being something to be honoured to be in to something where if you see unknown people high up then they def dropped a ton of cash for shifty publicity which ultimately does nothing for them?

A heap of artists also fired shots at the poll’s highly questionable way of ranking artists. Scroll down for the best reactions, and check out the full list below.

This whole DJ mag thing is getting worse by the minute, it’s a mockery to electronic music.
