Last week, a clip of David Bowie calling out MTV for not playing black artists went viral.

“It occurred to me, having watched MTV over the last few months, it’s a solid enterprise and it’s got a lot going for it,” Bowie said to the host while sitting down for an interview for his album Let’s Dance. “I’m just floored so few black artists feature on it. Why is that?”

When the flabbergasted host tried to justify the station, Bowie dug in: “The only few Black artists that one does see are on at about two thirty in the morning. Very few are featured predominantly during the day.”

You can watch the whole thing happen here.

The latest Bowie clip to speed around the internet, however, isn’t quite as politically charged. TikTok personality and resident funny person Maris Jones has been very busy recently creating content for her series, The Jones Family Retro Show. In it, she wrangles her sister to recreate iconic music moments from over the years, including The Beatles’ rooftop performance.

The clip that’s caught most attention is her flawless recreation of Mick Jagger and David Bowie’s 1985 duet, ‘Dancing In The Street’. If you haven’t seen the original video, take a few moments to acquaint yourself:

Now gaze upon Jones’ homage, which lovingly captures the glitzy ’80s cheese of the original. Pure art.

I mean, c’mon:
