Pornhub Is Giving Italians Free Premium Accounts So They Can Nut While In Lockdown

Three days ago, Italy was put on a total lockdown to combat the rising number of COVID-19 coronavirus cases in the country.

The lockdown comes after Italy became the second-most with infected country after China. With over 15,000 confirmed cases of coronavirus and more than 1,000 deaths, Italian officials announced on Tuesday that the “red zone” lockdown had been extended to the entire country.

In an attempt to combat the inevitable cabin fever that the population of 60 million will likely feel, Pornhub has done Italians a solid by offering them free Premium accounts.

For the entire month of March, Pornhub are waiving their monthly $9.99 fee for people in Italy. According to The Next Web, Pornhub aren’t even making people enter their credit card details to access the Premium account either.

The landing page of the Italian Pornhub site allegedly even has a message to those trying to access the site. Roughly translated from Italian, the site reads: “To keep you company at home during these weeks, you’ll be able to access Pornhub Premium for free for the whole month, with no need for a credit card.”

Beyond their thoughtful decision to allow Italians to nut through their quarantine period, Pornhub also shared that they would donate any Modelhub – an OnlyFans direct-to-consumer-style porn site – revenue over March to help Italy “overcome the emergency.”

While a pretty trivial offering, Italians will likely take and use the Pornhub offering, as Italy’s lockdown regulations are currently very strict.

Until March 25, all schools, gyms, and public venues will remain closed with large gatherings also being banned. Only grocery stores and pharmacies are allowed to operate alongside cafes which have a strict 6pm curfew and minimum 3.2 feet apart rule.

So with all non-essential socialising being forbidden in Italy, perhaps Pornhub really are onto something with this little Free Nut March initiative they’re running. Let’s just hope that this offering extended to Australia if we ever go into lockdown too.
