In the canon of great cinematic DILFs, perhaps none are as beloved as Colin Firth or Stanley Tucci.

The former looms large in the cultural imagination thanks to his role as Mr. Darcy, that dashing bugger who frolicked around in a fountain. The latter, on the other hand, has starred in a range of classics, including everything from cooking drama Julie and Julia to financial meltdown thriller Margin Call.

Both are talented and adept actors, and both are extremely hot men. Which is why the internet is in meltdown mode over news that the pair are playing lovers in a brand new melancholy relationship drama.

Titled Supernova, the film sees the pair head across the country while battling the forces of dementia, time and rampant modernisation. Watch the trailer here, and prepare to feel both deeply moved and also very horny.

Anyway, like I say, the trailer has somewhat broken the internet, with thousands of tweets celebrating this new cinematic milestone in hotness.

There’s no news at present concerning the film’s Australian release date. But given the noise that it’s caused online, it seems like a matter of time before we get an announcement. Stay tuned.
