This Chinese Mall’s New Chicken Mascot Looks Suspiciously Like Donald Trump
Cock-a-doodle-Donald.
It’s safe to say that Donald Trump has a fairly testy relationship with China. Over the past few years he’s accused the country of currency manipulation, stealing American jobs and making up climate change, and recently caused a diplomatic scandal after taking a phone call from the leader of Taiwan.
Just imagine how he’ll react when he finds out they’ve nicked his signature look.
To celebrate the year of the rooster, a shopping mall in Taiyuan in northern China has just unveiled a brand new mascot: a giant scowling bird that looks suspiciously similar to the incoming American president. From the golden coif to the creepy hand gestures, there’s no denying the resemblance.

According to CNN, small and large replicas of the trumped up cock are already available for purchase, with the largest replica standing at 32 feet tall. Wei Qing, whose company is selling the roosters, told the media outlet that he thought the rooster was “very cute and funny.”
“The hairstyle and eyebrows look very much like Donald Trump,” he said. “I’m sure it will attract a lot of customers.”
