Aussie comedian Celeste Barber went on The Drew Barrymore Show to be horny on the main for Keanu Reeves and we’re here for it.
Barber has been on the road touring her new live show, and after wrapping shows in Europe and the US, she made an appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show.
For the uninitiated, Drew Barrymore’s talk show is renowned for the hilariously, raw emotional chaos of its iconic host, Drew Barrymore. Think Ziwe, but if Ziwe was hosted by your cool, single middle-aged aunty.
The most recent season boasted a tonne of quirky unforgettable interviews with guests, including Weird Al Yankovic, Michelle Obama, Jeanette McCurdy, Lea Michelle, and Daniel Radcliffe.
Barber came onto Barrymore’s show to promote her live show and chat with Drew about her iconic celebrity impressions and staunch body positivity advocacy.
But before she and Drew could get stuck into it, Barber asked the most relatable question anyone in her situation could possibly ask.
“I have a very important question for you,” Barber asked Drew, drawing a deep breath. “Is this the chair that Keanu Reeves sat in when he said, ‘if you’re not going to fight for your love what kind of love do you have?’ Is this the chair?”
“It’s the very chair,” Drew replied, laughing. Hearing her response, Barber proceeded to, very hornily, slide down the chair to melt in a puddle of Keanu appreciation on the floor.
Barber is referring to Reeves’ interview from The Drew Barrymore Show late last year in which Drew asked Reeves if he was a lover or a fighter. Reeves famously waxed ,
“If you’re a lover, you have to be a fighter because if you don’t fight for your love what kind of love do you have?”
