Cards Against Humanity Launched As An Online Game (But It’s Already Crashed Because You’re All The Worst)

For shame.

Cards Against Humanity has been a go-to party game for you and your shitty friends for years now. After launching on Kickstarter in 2010, the cards have turned into a worldwide sensation, giving everyone a new and unique kind of modern-day exorcism; someone please name another situation where it’s socially acceptable to randomly scream the words “AIDS!”,”Holocaust!” or “Daniel Radcliffe’s delicious asshole!”

Seriously, tell me. I would love to know.

But now, for better or worse, this bizarre ritual has infiltrated another sphere of your life. As the game has always been registered under a Creative Commons license, a Canadian web designer named Dawson Whitfield has created an completely free online version. Launching today, Cards Against Originality allows you to play your friends any day, any time, on desktop, tablet and mobile devices. It’s basically the new Words With Friends, but with slightly more references to “dick fingers” and “panda sex”.

But here’s the really impressive thing: the site has already crashed. I would love to check it out for myself and give you some more information about how to set up the games or send URLs to your friends, but I can’t.

You goddamned animals have already overloaded the server.

It’s Thursday morning. Shouldn’t you be off contributing to society in some helpful way?

Needless to say, this is probably a sign of things to come. The creator of the site has told Mashable he’s busy working to ensure the site’s better prepared for high web traffic and the game should be up and running at full speed by the weekend.

Until then, you can keep an eye on the Facebook page for news or continually refresh the site until you’re gifted with some glimmer of sweet satisfying smut.
