Burning Man may be over for another year, but as punters leave Nevada’s Black Rock desert and resume their regular lives, more news and videos of the one-offs and had-to-be-there moments make their way onto the internet.

One of the biggest? A B2B DJ set between two of the world’s most influential producers, Diplo and Flume.

Diplo — who is currently the 7th highest paid DJ in the world — had a pretty massive few days at the festival, with 13 sets across three days. Thankfully for us, he posted a highlights reel on his Instagram, which is below, writing a heartfelt message about how the temporary desert city offers a lot of freedom.

“I’m guilty of getting lazy and keeping some of the same routine and playing same songs,” he wrote on Instagram, “but at BM I get to play records for the first time bring back old records.”

“Just creating a vibe [with] friends and random people riding bikes around you is some of the moments that make me feel like DJing is still one of the greatest jobs in the world.”

Thousands of act played the festival, including Zhu, Skrillex and Infected Mushroom.

While Diplo’s Burning Man sets included a massive dancehall session on the on-wheels Bump bed art car and a trap moment at Camp questionmark, it’s his final act, the B2B with Flume, that’s got everyone online fuming with FOMO. At least you can catch a little of it below.

If you have time to swipe – here are a couple of sets I played at Burning Man. My job is usually make songs that you hope people can dance too and to go out and play lot of sets every weekend . As you can imagine even that gets tiring . Improvise .. connect with old friends find new energy .. do amazing back to back sets .. find random art cars to pull up get lost in some lights and find songs I never heard before . Just creating a vibe w friends and random people riding bikes around you is some of the moments that make me feel like DJing is still one of the greatest jobs in the world .
