Britney Spears’ private wedding to Sam Asghari has been rudely interrupted by her first husband, who crashed the event while live-streaming his trespassing.

Before she married Kevin Federline — the father of her two children — Spears was briefly married to her childhood friend Jason Alexander (sadly, not the George Costanza actor). The pair married in January 2004 in Vegas, but the marriage was annulled just 55 hours later.

Alexander went live on Instagram on Thursday as he attempted to trespass the private event. He allegedly told security at the event that Britney had personally invited him to the ceremony. Shortly after, there appeared to be some sort of struggle between Alexander and security before his phone freezes up.

Her ex-husband somehow managed to make it inside the home, which he live-streamed on Instagram to his 6,000+ followers before eventually being restrained outside.

TMZ reports that Ventura County Sheriff’s Department responded to a trespassing call out to the event, and are reportedly still on the scene.

According to Page Six, Alexander has been taken into police custody.

“Jason Alexander has been handcuffed, taken into custody and arrested. I express my thanks to the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department for their prompt response and good work,” Spears’ attorney, Mathew Rosengart told Page Six. “And we will seek to ensure that Mr. Alexander is prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law,”

Alexander has previously shown support for Spears through the viral #FreeBritney movement, and attended a rally outside an LA courthouse during her conservatorship hearings. He alleged at the time that he had been in recent communication with Spears, but she is yet to confirm this.

Spears and Asghari are reportedly tying the knot in an intimate ceremony at her Thousand Oaks home in front of 50 friends and family members. Page Six reports that Spears’ two children did not attend the ceremony but are happy for their mother.

Spears is yet to share photos from the wedding.
