Watch Billie Eilish And Paramore’s Hayley Williams’ Stunning Cover Of ‘Misery Business’
"Oh, look! An empty seat. Who's that for? Everybody, can we please welcome my friend Hayley Williams!"
The second weekend of Coachella has wrapped up for the year, and not without its share of musical cameos.
Billie Eilish brought out none other than Hayley Williams to revive a much loved Paramore hit ‘Misery Business’. The pair performed an acoustic rendition of the track, with Eilish’s brother Finneas helping out on acoustic guitar.
“Thanks for sharing this with me, this is sick!” Williams said as she was brought on stage.
Williams stuck around to lend her voice to Eilish’s own track ‘Happier Than Ever’, a massive highlight of the festival’s second weekend. The pair look to be kindred emo spirits and can be seen bouncing around on stage as a backdrop of digital thunder and lighting raged behind them.
Ever adding to her relatability, Eilish joked to the gathered Coachella audience about how her dancing led her to accidentally slip on stage.
“You guys, I seriously ate shit. Seriously. It was pitch black. Do you see that square?: This fucking thing? I went de-de-de-de-de and fell onto my face! I’m good. It was dark,” Eilish told the crowd.
Last Friday, Eilish brought out Damon Albarn to perform his Gorillaz hit ‘Feel Good Inc.’, joining De La Soul rapper Posdnuos who performed his original guest rap verse.
