Watch Beyoncé Keep Performing After Her Floating Stage Broke, Because She Is Beyoncé
Would you expect anything less?
Next time your floating stage breaks down and leaves you stuck in the sky, take comfort in the fact that it once happened to Beyoncé.
Beyoncé is currently on her ‘OTR II’ world tour with Jay-Z, which by all accounts is amazing. Last month, they surprise-dropped Everything Is Love, a collaborative album which acts as the couple’s capstone on a trio of albums about their marital issues.
Suitably, the concert spans both their careers and relationship — according to Noisey, it’s an exercise in voyeurism as much as it is a pop spectacle. Which brings us to the floating stage, which extends upon the stage’s catwalk to leave the performers 6 metres above the crowd.
At the end of the Warsaw concert this weekend, the pair lifted to the skies to sing a mashup of J’s ‘Young Forever’ and ‘Perfect’, Bey’s duet with Ed Sheeran.
When the stage fails to lower at the concert’s end, Jay-Z manages to bugger off but Bey was left stranded. As the outro music kept playing, the crew scrambled to get a ladder to help her get down.
Beyoncé says “Everybody say EVERYTHING IS LOVE” at the end of show while thanking everyone, crew, dancers, band etc. Also another view of what happened with the stage #OTRII #OTRIIWarsaw pic.twitter.com/7pdkMx3DF1

It’s a little unceremonious to say the least, but ever the entertainer, Beyoncé broke out some of her finest moves while she waited.
Queen of always entertaining the fans even while being stuck on stage. ?? #OTRII #Warsawhttps://t.co/0SZOq3BsLe pic.twitter.com/jDjSOdt71z

Unfortunately, the OTR II tour’s not currently scheduled for Australia, though the Herald Sun reported back in April that the pair had “locked in” to visit our shores this Summer.
While we pray for confirmation, you can always tide yourself over with a video of Beyoncé slowly walking down a ladder.
