In these troubled times, it’s good to know you can rely on certain constants. The sun will always rise in the east. Peter Dutton will always be a potato. And Barking Dog Man… well, he loves to bark.

Nine years ago, Ray Graham became an international sensation after an interview he gave to A Current Affair went viral due to his, uh, enthusiastic impersonation of the dangerous dogs in his western Sydney street.

On Friday, Graham gave a followup interview to ACA, telling host Leila McKinnon that “in some ways, I’ve been defined by it”.

“We often get stopped in the shopping centres and places like that. People always want a photo, and sometimes they want a video. Sometimes people are a bit hesitant and say ‘oh, I know your face from somewhere’.”

“And then sometimes I just bark at them.”

McKinnon then asked him to reprise his iconic performance. And like an absolute legend, he obliged.

What a guy.
