Of Course Jonathan Van Ness And Antoni Porowski Were Promoting Dog Food
"Not the queers queerbaiting."
After Queer Eye boys Jonathan Van Ness and alleged cook Antoni Porowski claimed they were “finally together” in an unconvincing social media post yesterday, we can confirm the two were actually promoting… dog food. Lord give us strength.
The co-workers threw up some very cropped-looking photos on social media last night teasing the two were in a relationship, while convincing precisely no one of the fact. “After years of joking about it, we’re finally together. Here’s to giving things a shot,” tweeted Porowski.
“It’s the ‘details tomorrow’ sent from both their accounts at the same time” one person said in response to Jonathan Van Ness’ tweet. “That’s not how you announce a relationship, it’s how you announce a product.”

And as it turns out, everyone was right. Yep, the Queer Eye stars — both of whom are in long-term relationships with other people — were actually joshing! “Mini clarification — not life partners, *business* partners,” Antoni wrote this morning on Twitter.
“Introducing our new company Yummers: meal mix-ins for pets! Mix a little into your pet’s bowl each meal to add extra flavour, variety & nutrition into their diet.”
We can’t believe the most unconvincing relationship soft launch there ever was a hoax! Could it be that our society has reached the point where even queer people are not immune to queerbaiting? Is this… progress? I feel like it’s not. In any case, the internet is reacting with a collective groan. “Queer Eye? More like queer lie to sell pet food,” the geniuses at Vulture noted. Truer words have never been spoken.

Antoni Porowski and Jonathan Van Ness have partnered to create the worlds first LGBT-owned defense contractor, paving the way for energy producers like RuPaul to expand to the Middle East. A percent of all proceeds will go to The Trevor Project.
