Tributes Are Pouring In For Chef Anthony Bourdain, Who Has Died Aged 61

Tributes are pouring in for celebrated chef, author and TV presenter Anthony Bourdain following his death in France at the age of 61.
Bourdain was in France filming an episode of his CNN series Parts Unknown when he was found unresponsive in his hotel room. CNN has since confirmed that Bourdain took his own life.
“It is with extraordinary sadness we can confirm the death of our friend and colleague, Anthony Bourdain,” said the network in a statement. “His love of great adventure, new friends, fine food and drink and the remarkable stories of the world made him a unique storyteller. His talents never ceased to amaze us and we will miss him very much.”
“Our thoughts and prayers are with his daughter and family at this incredibly difficult time.”
One of the most influential figures in the gastronomic world, Bourdain was best known for his memoir Kitchen Confidential as well as his television programs No Reservations, The Layover and Parts Unknown.
Following the news of his death, prominent admirers and chefs took to social media to express their grief.
