You can keep all your real-world popstars: they’ve got nothing on KK Slider, the hero dog from Animal Crossing.

For those not in the know, KK Slider is a legend in the world of the long-running franchise. Appearing in literally ever instalment of the series, he’s a good-natured, chart-topping king whose records you can collect, and who you can meet and befriend.

In the newest game, New Leaf, the aim is to get him to visit your island, which he’ll only do when it hits a certain ranking. But when he’s there, he blows the roof off the place, garbling his way through a concert for your ecstatic villagers and generally acting like Mick Jagger if he were a dog made of polygons.

Basically, the whole world has KK fever — and now, that’s spilling over into fan art on Twitter.

Yep, not content with merely collecting the singles that KK has for sale in the world of the game, intrepid Animal Crossing fans are combining the dog with some of the most famous real-world albums of all time.
