Hugh Jackman Ran Into Old Mate Andy Lee Live On US Late Night TV And It’s Extremely Pure

Picking out another Australian while travelling overseas is never that hard of a task. Generally you’ll pick up our distinctive accent cutting through the air like a fart at bikram yoga. Other means of identifying fellow Strayans include bintang singlets, casual racism or sometimes, they’re simply waving at you from the front row of the talk show you’re appearing on.
Ok so that last one may only apply to buff, hot Aussie actors named Hugh Jackman, but I stand by the casual racism thing.
The Huge Jacked Man did indeed run into a fellow antipodean while filming an appearance on Stephen Colbert’s The Late Show earlier this week and would you believe it, it was none other than the hot half of Hamish and Andy, Andy Lee.
The yarn goes that Andy and his partner, Bec Harding, were simply doing the tourist thing in New York and scored some tickets to a Colbert filming which coincidentally turned out to be Hugh’s episode. Look how cute!
Jackman’s team heard word that Andy was in the audience and so made a beeline for the radio and TV legend as soon as he walked out for cheeky hug g’day.
Lee caught the footage of their odd little rendezvous later that night when the episode aired and trust me when I say it’s so weirdly pure and warm and lovely. Colbert had no fucken idea what was going on, but that somehow makes it all the more wholesome.
