American comedians have wasted absolutely no time in reacting to Donald Trump’s latest scandal, in which he was caught on mic talking about grabbing women “by the pussy.” Samantha Bee and Stephen Colbert both dropped their takes within hours of the audio leaking, and now Saturday Night Live has lampooned the controversy with the help of Alec Baldwin’s spot-on impersonation.

Alec Baldwin Debuted His Donald Trump Impression On ‘SNL’, And It Was Glorious

The sketch opens with a brief look at the vice presidential debate, before cutting to Baldwin covered in what looks to be a truly toxic amount of orange foundation.

“Are you not entertained?” he bellows.

Baldwin/Trump goes on to defend his remarks as having taken place “way back in 2005. It was 11 years ago, back when I was just a young, childish 59-year-old man.”

He also makes a pledge to the women voters he may have offended, saying “if you give me a chance, I promise I can do a whole lot more than just grab it.”

Things go from bad to worse when the Republican again fails to realise that his microphone is switched on, making some fairly unfortunate references to the victims of hurricane Matthew.

“”I wish that I was that hurricane, tearing through all of that hot Miami pussy,” he says to someone off camera. “I would just destroy it.”

It’s at this point that the sketch cuts to Kate McKinnon’s Hillary Clinton, “busy preparing for the debate tomorrow.”

“It was incredibly disturbing, and when I heard it I was deeply saddened,” says McKinnon/Clinton while struggling to swallow a grin.

“It is a very sad day for our country, and for all women, minus one,” she adds, with a wink and a shimmy.
