This year’s Hottest 100 is still two weeks away, but we already have a fairly good idea of what the final countdown is going to look like.

Since voting opened in December, prediction site 100 Warm Tunas has been diligently trawling our Hottest 100 social media posts to take an educated guess at what the poll will look like. When we checked in with Tunas in mid-December, they had placed Kendrick Lamar’s ‘HUMBLE.’ in the top spot, followed by Gang of Youths tracks ‘The Deepest Sighs, The Frankest Shadows’ and ‘Let Me Down Easy’ at #2 and #3.

There hasn’t been much movement at the very top of the leaderboard since then (local faves Methyl Ethyl are still at #4 with ‘Ubu’, while Lorde is tipped at #5 with ‘Green Light’) but there have been some notable shifts across the top 20.

Baker Boy’s fiery track ‘Marryuna’ has jumped up a couple of places to #10, while BROCKHAMPTON’s ‘Sweet’ has leapt up to #6.

Alex Lahey’s ‘I Haven’t Been Taking Care Of Myself’ has slipped three places to #18, but then her track ‘Every Day’s The Weekend’ has snuck up to #20. Architects ‘Doom’ has dropped completely out of the top 20, while English outfit Nothing But Thieves have come from nowhere to land at #19 with ‘Amsterdam.’

Last year the site very nearly predicted the entire top ten, although it placed Amy Shark’s ‘Adore’ above Flume’s ‘Never Be Like You’ — which went on to win. The Hottest 100 will be counted down on Saturday, January 27, following the shift from its previous date of January 26.

Check out the full countdown as it stands below; it’s updated daily. And if you haven’t voted, do that now.
