The hit comedy podcast features Jessica Williams and Phoebe Robinson, and is recorded live in front of an audience in Brooklyn. It features stand-up sets by guest comedians, as well as conversations and riffs on sex, romance, race, hair journeys, living in New York and Billy Joel.
Williams is known for her work on The Daily Show and her show The Incredible Jessica James, while Robinson has guested on Broad City and is an author.
“2 Dope Queens and HBO going half on a TV baby? A dream come true!” said Robinson in a statement. “The work wife and I are beyond thrilled that the formula we’ve perfected over the past four seasons of doing the podcast (Ignorance x Cocoa Butter + Comedic Honesty) is being brought to this network.”
2 Dope Queens will hit HBO next year, and is available as a podcast on WNYC
