The venn diagram of people who love Amy Poehler, the people who love Maya Rudolph, the people who love Netflix and the people who love white wine is a circle.

This is because all of these things are very good. They are good in a satisfying, comforting way — the way a blanket is good in winter, or a punnet of fresh blackberries poured over icecream. They are good in a way that fills you up with joy like a cup.

Well, luckily for all people who love nice things, Poehler, Rudolph, wine and Netflix have teamed up on a brand new comedy called Wine Country.

Wine Country was actually helmed by Poehler, making her directorial debut. Following three old pals — Poehler, Rudolph and Rachel Dratch of Saturday Night Live fame — as they go on a tour through the titular wine country, it’s an examination of female friendship, love, age and also drinking so much white wine that you fall off a piano during an emotional speech.

Watch the trailer, and then we’ll reconvene again after.

Looks good, hey!

As one would expect from a Poehler joint, the cameos are copious. Tina Fey makes an appearance because of course she does. Eagle-eyed viewers will also have spotted Maya Erskine, she of Pen15 fame, not to mention blink-and-you’ll miss ’em spots from Jason Schwartzman, Lady Dynamite‘s Ana Gasteyer, Saturday Night Live‘s Paula Pell, Brooklyn Nine-Nine‘s Emily Spivey, and Bad Neighbors’ Liz Cackowski.

Better yet, the advanced buzz on Wine Country has been very good. Netflix are actually taking the rare move of simultaneously dropping the film on their streaming service and in cinemas in the States, a promotional roll-out they usually only reserve for films they reckon will either win them a lot of new fans, or win them some Oscars.

Wine Country hits Netflix on May 10.
