You Can Now Instagram Yourself EATING That Delicious Meal:

At a Facebook press event in the States overnight, the company — who purchased Instagram last year — announced that their photo-sharing service had finally launched video.

In an update now available from your app store, you can add one of 13 filters to video, and then share it with all of your little friends. There’s a feature called ‘Cinema’ that will stabilise the shakes and, in good news for animal enthusiasts everywhere, the capacity is 15 seconds — more than double that of the service’s main competitor, Vine.

It actually looks kind of great.

The Super Mario Brothers Theme Song Has Rap Lyrics Now:

In the Suggestion Box of Jimmy Fallon — which is midway through its Video Game Week — someone asked that the Mario theme be given lyrics.

Black Thought, aka Tariq from The Roots, was happy to oblige. “We threw a cape on his back, and he became super / These are the life and times of a mushroom trooper.

James Gandolfini On Sesame Street Is The Best/Saddest:

As the world mourned the sudden, tragic loss of James Gandolfini yesterday, the internet spent the day falling all over itself trying to find that one photo, interview or clip that would say more about the man than any other could. But the Holy Grail remained just out of reach: the elusive scene of Gandolfini on Sesame Street, that aired back in 2002 but had never made its way online.

The clip was uploaded by the program overnight, and follows orange girl puppet Zoe and her fear of big noises, curable only by a hug from Gandolfini. He too is scared of things — the dark, haircuts, and giant talking vegetables — but luckily he’s never seen one of those…

In related tear-jerking news, Holsten’s ice-cream parlour, where the final scene of The Sopranos was shot, are commemorating the great man in their own special way.
