Moustachioed rockers The Killers continue to call in celebrity favours for their latest music videos. Last week, the band’s clip for single ‘Just Another Girl’, featured Glee‘s Dianna Agron doing her best Brandon Flowers impersonation. Now, they’ve recruited Hollywood superstars Owen Wilson and Harry Dean Stanton (Paris, Texas; Big Love) for ‘Christmas In L.A.’, their new charity single aimed at raising funds for the Red Project.

The actors open the clip with some casual conversation about their existential fears, Killers frontman Brandon Flowers interrupts with his usual Springsteen thing, and then the whole thing turns into a sad cartoon. The weirdest part, though? Someone apparently thought it was a good idea to buy Owen Wilson bright red Chuck Taylors as a Christmas present. Yeah, like those won’t be getting re-gifted.
