Watch Newsreaders Report On Happy Stories Everyone Wishes Were True
This just in: pizza is awesome.
Between all the war and police brutality and beloved comedians dying, it’s been a pretty solidly crappy last few weeks on planet Earth, especially if you have the unenviable job of telling everyone about it. Newsreaders have had to be the bearers of some terrible news lately, and are no doubt a bit tired of constantly bringing the mood down.
Happily for some local NBC news anchors, the Tonight Show wanted some happy headlines, and got them to read out the stories they’ve always dreamed of, like “I love you” and “ghosts are fine”.
