Watch Against Me!’s Laura Jane Grace Cover Amy Shark’s ‘Adore’

Fresh from reeling in the praises of Lena Dunham and Tom DeLonge, Amy Shark can now tick another item off her bucket list: having her music covered by one of her biggest heroes.

While in town for this year’s Groovin The Moo tour, Against Me! singer and punk icon Laura Jane Grace performed an stripped-back version of Shark’s chart-topping hit ‘Adore’ at Sydney’s Rolling Stone offices, reworking the pop track into an acoustic heartbreaker.

Unlike Dunham’s shoutout, this one didn’t come completely out of the blue: Amy Shark and Grace became friends while travelling together on the GTM tour, and this was Against Me! singer’s way of giving props to her new pal.

It seems like Shark’s pretty stoked with the result too:
