Donald Trump has shared his thoughts on who should be Time magazine’s Person of the Year 2018, and you’ll never guess who it is.

Except nah, who are we kidding: he picked himself. Specifically, when a reporter asked him about Person of the Year at a press conference, he had this to say: “I’ve been there before. I can’t imagine anybody else other than Trump. Can you imagine anybody other than Trump? Huh?”

He then left to board a plane or something, as is customary after you’ve just declared yourself to be, in your own opinion, Person of the Year.

Oh, and he also took a moment at the press conference to clarify that “it’s called person of the year, right? It’s no longer man of the year, right? I don’t know then, that’s up to Time Magazine.”

Anyway, he has in fact been Time’s Person of the Year before, back in 2016, and that was more than enough for most of us. Apparently not quite enough for the 45th President of the United States, though, who had to be asked by Time magazine to please stop decorating his golf clubs with photoshopped Time covers bearing his image.

Anyway, here’s the actual Time poll with some actual options you can vote for as Person of the Year. Here’s hoping a certain someone doesn’t find the link.
