Triple J’s Veronica And Lewis Made A ‘Rap Guide’ To ‘Winning Gold At The Fuck Olympics’
But there's a lot of confusion about what 'busting a nut' means.
Triple j has been getting down and dirty as part of ‘porn week’, a focus on the way porn and popular culture doubles as sex (mis)education for most millennials and gen Z’ers. Not wanting to be left out of the convo, afternoon hosts Veronica and Lewis went above and beyond, releasing a ‘sex flex’ about the confusing metaphors rappers use to talk about fucking.
After an on-air chat this week about how confused you’d be if you only learnt of sex through rap music, Lewis was challenged by a listener to prove he could better. He and Veronica went out and did it — and by ‘it’, we mean, ‘write, record and film a music video at Sydney bar Freda’s’.
Introducing ‘Sex Flex: A Rap Guide To Fornication’, where the duo take what they’ve learnt from rap so you can “win gold at the fuck Olympics”.
Then again, things get a little confused once they begin untangling some of the more obfuscating metaphors. Lewis, reportedly not a virgin, freaks out about “busting a nut”, and the two decide that rappers might be lying to us. It’s a lot, but it’s right: as one YouTube commenter writes, “I’ve never been so proud to have paid taxes. Thank you for this.”
Watch the slightly intense video below, though if you’re keen for a more informative chat, triple j’s Hack and The Hook Up have both dedicated shows this week to questions around porn, exploring ethical porn shoots, stigmas surrounding porn genres, porn addition and more.
