Today’s International Women’s Day, and to celebrate, triple j are going all out to bring girls to the front with all-female hosts, a whole heap of interviews and features on non-cis males all day long. So this week’s ‘Like A Version’ had to be something pretty special.

Flint Eastwood (aka Detroit native Jax Anderson) is currently in Australia for a little tour off the back of the success of sapphic anthem ‘Real Love’, which details fighting through her Christian upbringing to accept her sexuality.

In-between shows, she hopped into the jjj studios for a cover of HAIM’s ‘Want You Back’ — but it’s her rendition of her big hit ‘Real Love’ that’s captured our hearts.

Rather than go it alone, Flint enlisted a lot of homegrown talent for back-up, creating the supergroup we never knew we needed. CLEWS, Washington, JEFFE and Charlie Collins each grab a mic for some stunning harmonies and back-up vocals, adding a warmth and communal sense of support to ‘Real Love’.

Give it a whirl below, and then go do something gay.
