This Prankster Soared Around New York City As ‘Aladdin’ On An Actual Magic Carpet

Jesse Wellens, the guy behind YouTube prankster channel PrankvsPrank, has taken time out from torturing his girlfriend with extremely convincing and terrifying ghost holograms at night to confuse the people of New York City on Halloween.

Armed with a skateboard deftly hidden underneath his ~magic~ carpet, Wellens ~flew~ around Manhatten dressed as Aladdin, seemingly succeeding in bamboozling the hell out of everyone he zoomed past.

It’s a cool trick, but it begs an important question – where are all the freakin’ cars? It’s New York City! Shouldn’t he have been stuck between two taxis for three days?

The video’s since gone viral so it’s not as if you can attempt this trick for yourself because everyone will be all “it’s been done”, but if you’re just a curious person with a lot of time on your hands this behind the scenes video may placate your burning desire to kill time:
