This Is The Face Of A Guy Who’s Just Announced The Wrong Winner Of Miss Universe On Accident
You done goofed, fella.
The finals of the Miss Universe 2015 pageant have just wrapped up (yes, they still exist, apparently). No doubt there were endless emotional speeches, displays of skill and expressions of desire for world peace in the run-up, but all anyone cares about is the result.
And that’s where things got a bit hairy. TV personality Steve Harvey, most well-known as the host of The Steve Harvey Morning Show and Family Feud in the US, was on-hand to MC the pageant finale, a two-way contest between Miss Colombia and Miss Philippines, and announce the winner.
He announced the wrong winner.
There it is: the most cringe-inducing three minutes of television you’ll ever watch. Miss Colombia’s gaze when they take the crown off her head could kill a wombat.

Harvey later clarified that he read the cue-card wrong; Miss Colombia was listed as the first runner-up. He issued a sincere if appallingly-spelled apology on Twitter, but not before becoming the internet’s new favourite plaything.
