The New ‘Mad Max: Fury Road’ Trailer Is Suitably Explosion-Filled, Ridiculous
Turn off brain, enjoy.
Dumb movies get a lot of flack for being dumb, despite fulfilling a valuable purpose by their very existence. Turning your brain off and watching things explode for two hours is a proven coping tactic in modern society, and the haters can go feel superior and have no fun somewhere else.
Case in point: the upcoming Mad Max: Fury Road, the latest trailer of which was released this morning. The whole premise seems to be about a guy helping a bunch of women escape sexual slavery in the desert, which, like, okay. I guess no one’s watching this for the plot, though, and the visuals are so over-the-top fantastic that watching this on a big screen is definitely the way to go.

Mad Max: Fury Road premieres in Australia on May 14. Watch it in 3D, probably.
