The New Castlevania Lords Of Shadow 2 Trailer Proves That Video Game Trailers Are Getting Ridiculous
Sheesh, six minutes and twenty seconds!
E3, the Electronic Entertainment Expo, where video game publishers and other such nerd enterprises meet annually to flaunt their wares, kicks off early next week, but the news is already coming thick and fast. We’ve already learnt a bunch of things, like superstar Kiefer Sutherland will lend his seductive vocals to the next installment of the beloved Metal Gear Solid franchise, Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. This is exciting, because, you know, Jack Bauer/asshole Ace will be whispering sweet nothings in your ear pretty soon.
In other newly unveiled news, Konami revealed the trailer for their upcoming, Castlevania: Lords Of Shadow 2. And, holy shit, the series has come a long way since this:
The new trailer kicks off with a quote from Nietzsche, features some real sad-timey music, epic narration from sudden pizza lover Sir Patrick Stewart, and shows lead character Gabriel Belmont (ie: Dracula) dramatically sulking around and saying things like, “I cannot die… YET! I cannot live.” Also, it runs for six minutes and twenty seconds. 6.20! You’ll need a cigarette after watching it.
The game is due out on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC later in the year.
