When Amy Schumer took the stage in Melbourne on Wednesday night she aggressively bemoaned the incessant press attention she’s been getting. Obsessed with her meteoric rise and commanding global fan base, the media seem to be constantly hounding her about her work, opinions and sex life. An interview with a Melbourne radio host even went viral yesterday in which she was essentially called a “skank”. Fame looks terrible.
