The Honest Trailer For Back To The Future Is Probably The Only Thing You’ll Be Able To Stand Today
"A series of era-defining films that made everyone who wasn't black want to go back in time."
The past 24 hours have been particularly rough for Australian Back To The Future fans.
After waking up and finding ourselves in the future — the same day Doc and Marty traveled to in the second film of the series — we were understandably psyched. It was a great excuse to nerd out over an iconic film and a unique opportunity to assess the world’s progress over the past two decades. Then our Facebook feeds were flooded with cops on hoverboards, terrible skits from hammy radio DJs, and a NSW Premier cracking dad jokes outside a DeLorean and we were overcome by the urge to throw our nifty futuristic smartphones into the sea.
Now, exhausted by the whole ordeal and ready for a new day, we’ve logged back on to find the US mid-way through their own Back To The Future celebrations. We’ve involuntarily traveled back in time to the one date we’d rather forget.

It. Never. Ends.
In an attempt to ease some of this frustration, Screen Junkies have finally released the Honest Trailer for the iconic series — one that made “everyone who wasn’t black want to go back in time” and let an attempted rapist pay for his crimes with chores around the house.
Even if you love the films, this probably the only thing you’ll be able to stand today:
