The Guardian Are Letting You Choose The New Turnbull Government In ‘Fantasy Federal Cabinet’
That game you ordered.
Malcolm Turnbull is coming up to his one week Prime Ministerial anniversary, and tomorrow he’ll announce the rest of the team in his shiny *new* government. Given Tony Abbott’s questionable appointments, which were mostly male and extremely unpopular, people are eagerly awaiting the new squad; especially as Turnbull’s hinted there’ll be more lady cabinet members, despite leaked documents showing him as the worst performing minister at appointing women on boards. There are also rumours Kevin Andrews and Eric Abetz are getting kicked from the frontbench, while Scott Morrison will supposedly get the prized gig of treasurer.

In anticipation of tomorrow’s announcement, The Guardian have made an adorably dorky and surprisingly fun ‘fantasy federal cabinet’ plug-in for readers to “compose your dream team for the new Turnbull government”.
Handy drop down menus let you pick a minister for each position and there’s no rules against picking the same person for all of them, so obviously all the very serious political commentators like myself have been having a really good time today. You can also choose to submit your cabinet picks, and The Guardian will compare readers’ results to the real thing tomorrow.
Head here to join in. There’s only a few hours left of pre-Turnbull cabinet, so godspeed, kids.
Also, pray for Andrews.
