‘The Feed’ Has Perfectly Dragged Obnoxious Men Talking Loudly About Women’s Sport

From Ash Barty to the AFLW, Australia’s sportswomen are kicking serious goals at the moment, and it’s been awesome to see the public get on board. But the increased attention given to women’s sport has also led to an increase in a certain type of man who talks a little too loudly about how much he supports “the girls”.

“I don’t call women’s soccer ‘women’s soccer’,” declares one such man in a new sketch from The Feed. “I just call it soccer.”

“What do you call men’s soccer,” asks his female colleague.

“Football,” he replies.

“I just hate it when people make comments about the noises women make when they play tennis,” says another male fan. “They don’t sound like porn. And if they do, so what?”

“In the Amazon, women are the warriors,” adds a third man.

Most importantly, they all agree that female athletes should be paid just as much as men. They’re very, very clear on that point.
