Everybody has at least one mate who is very good at making you feel inadequate.

You know the one: she’s got a successful side hustle, she’s excellent at her well-paid job, she can keep a fern alive, and, most infuriatingly of all, she’s kind and attentive, so you can’t even get mad at her.

In fact, the only upside is that such women tend to have one common Achilles heel: uniquely shitty taste in men.

Now, Freudian Nip, an excellent comedy duo at The Feed, has launched an examination into the trend of dingleberry men latching themselves onto women who do laps around them in the form of a short profile of all-round legend Valerie.

Valerie, as profiled by The Feed, is the woman who has it (almost) all. Her deadshit boyfriend Sam, by contrast, has nothing but a bad memory when it comes to where he’s put the good Playstation controller (it’s next to the butter) and the immense privilege of being born a man.

Can women have it all?

You know you’ve succeeded as a woman when you have time and energy to navigate the burden of having a boyfriend. Learn how YOU can have it all as The Feed tackles BURNOUT tonight 8:30pm on SBS VICELAND

“Valerie is amazing,” her best friend Jo Fuller tells The Feed camera crew. “She’s 25 and a lawyer, she’s written a book, she side hustles as a pilates instructor, and she even finds time to navigate a stupid ass boyfriend like Sam.”

The whole thing is very much worth watching in full. Although fair warning, if you yourself are in possession of a boyfriend who only cooks when he can get direct praise from an audience of his peers, it’s probably worth giving this one a miss: it does hit rather close to home.
