‘The Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina’ Has Revealed Its Season Two Premiere Date
The first season of The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina reintroduced us to the titular teenage witch, who brought with her a much darker and more Satanic bent than we remember from the Melissa Joan Hart years. Now Netflix has released a teaser trailer and revealed the air date for the second season, and it looks to be just as dangerous as the first.
Set to rock song ‘Cherry Bomb’ by The Runaways, Sabrina appears to have fully embraced life as a witch in the teaser, standing in front of a mirror and changing her clothes with a twirl — an apparent nod to the opening titles of the 1996 series.
However, while the supernatural part of her life initially seems to have settled a bit, Sabrina is facing some romantic issues. We all know that Sabrina and Harvey are sacrosanct endgame mandated by lore, but a quick shot of ex Harvey gently removing Roz’ glasses in the school hallway indicates that he may have already moved on. It could be a long road to the pair getting back together.
In fact, The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina may even choose not to reunite them at all, as Sabrina looks very happy dancing with warlock Nick. It isn’t as though Riverdale even considered itself beholden to Archie canon.
Either way, it seems as though the relative lull in the supernatural sphere won’t last for long. If the trailer is any indication, Sabrina will soon be wrapped up in chilling adventures once more, running through the forest, conducting Satanic rituals, and possibly committing arson.
Part two of The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina will arrive on Netflix April 5 and consist of 10 episodes. But to tide you over until then, you can get your creepy demonic fix when the Sabrina Christmas special lands on December 14.
