SZA Just Surprise Dropped A New Track And Everyone Is Already Obsessed
It's called 'Hit Different', and it really does.
It’s been too long since we last properly heard from SZA.
The musician’s debut, the all-time great Ctrl, dropped a whole three years ago. Since then, she’s been part of a bunch of fascinating collaborations, teaming up with everyone from Justin Timberlake to DJ Khaled. But it’s been a while since SZA fans have been able to sink their teeth into something weighty.
Well, that wait is finally over. But a few minutes ago, the singer dropped her new track, a work of glossy art called ‘Hit Different.’
Featuring Ty Dolla $ign, the track doubles down into everything great about Ctrl while also showcasing a new development and edge. Basically it’s great, topped only by the song’s accompanying music video, which features SZA and a group of back-up dancers in a junkyard.
The influx of new material has fans deliriously overwhelmed, and there are already a bunch of wonderful reactions on Twitter.
