We’ve had a sneak peek, but Netflix has now released their full trailer for the Season 4 finale of Stranger Things, and everyone is freaking out accordingly.

Featuring a thumping rendition of the Stranger Things theme song mashed up with Kate Bush’s ‘Running Up The Hill’ — which the show gave a new lease of life — the trailer is even more ominous than you’d imagine, showing Will saying to Mike: “He’s not going to stop, not until he’s taken everyone,” and Robin warn that “it might not work out for us this time.” Oh god. Someone is going to die.

— Warning: Spoilers for Season 4 of Stranger Things lurk below —

To recap: Season 4’s most recent episode came with a big reveal —when we learnt that the person who was helping Eleven escape the lab when she was a wee girl was actually Henry Creel, also known as 001: the lab’s first specimen.

We also saw Eleven fight against Henry and banish him to the Upside Down, where he eventually was revealed to be Vecna.

While there are only two episodes left, word has it that the final episode will run for a whopping two-and-a-half hours. And if the new trailer is anything to go by, there’s a whole lot in store for the folks in Hawkins yet.
