Stephen Colbert “Interviewed” Donald Trump Following His Shock Election Win

On the whole it's only slightly less ridiculous than actual interviews with Trump.

Earlier this week, Donald Trump gave his first televised interview since winning the election to 60 Minutes. Yesterday, he gave his second televised interview since winning the election to The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. Kind of. Not really.

Seth Myers’ Fake Vice Presidential Debate Was A Hell Of A Lot Less Boring Than The Real Thing

The Late Show spoof began with Colbert complimenting Trump on his home. “It looks like Caligula’s man-cave,” the comedian quipped. “A little bit,” Trump replies.

With the pleasantries out of the way, it was time to dive into the issues that really  matter. On the subject of Vladimir Putin, Colbert asked Trump to confirm whether the Russian president had in fact sent his new American counterpart “a large wooden horse as a victory gift.”

He also got some more information on the potential makeup of Trump’s administration, which will apparently include “a coffee can with googly eyes” as Energy Secretary and “a pack of wild dogs” for Secretary of Education.

The scary part? I’d honestly rather the dogs than Trump’s actual pick for chief strategist.
