"We could show you two hours of a monkey washing a cat and you'd still go see this movie. Twice."

With 42 sleeps until the film’s release (shut up, everyone’s counting), the hype for Star Wars: The Force Awakens is finally kicking into gear. We now have teasersan official poster, and a full glorious trailer that’s likely been playing on repeat through your dreams for the last couple of weeks. Now things are really getting official: we have the first Honest Trailer.

Unlike their usual stuff which includes fairly scathing assessments of films we’ve already seen to death, Screen Junkies have released this one well before the film’s release and based it solely off the teaser. Also — because the people behind it are almost definitely hardcore fanboys — the closest thing to real criticism is this:

“We could show you two hours of a monkey washing a cat and you’d still go see this movie. Twice.”

Overnight, we were also blessed with a whole new load of character posters. Revealed by some of the very excited cast members a few hours ago, they feature close-up portraits of Kylo Ren (Adam Driver), Finn (Jojn Boyega), Leia (Carrie Fischer), Rey (Daisy Ridley), and Han Solo (Harrison Ford) in a world where everyone seems to hold weapons far too close to their face.

Also: STILL. NO. LUKE.
