Just A Bunch Of People Dunking On Scott Morrison For His Terrible Borat Impression
Very nice.
Yesterday, Scott Morrison did a Borat impression on the floor of Parliament. Is there context to that? Sort of. Not really. Does it matter? Point is, he did it, and he looked like a fucking idiot.
.@ScottMorrisonMP: Over in Kazakhstan, I’m sure they’re absolutely thrilled about this. Some call it a carbon tax, but I call it the Borat tax.
I know what Borat would think of Labor’s policies on emissions reduction…

Good to know our Prime Minister hasn’t seen a movie since 2006.
Social media has since weighed in on Morrison’s impersonation, and look, the reviews have not been great.
it’s funny because if ScoMo’s budget reminds me of any moment from Borat, it’s when he shits in a plastic bag at the fancy dinner party.

Note for younger readers: Borat was a fictional Kazakh character popular in some western nations at the end of the 20th century and in the early years of the current millennium https://t.co/BfrfNYypuP

When Borat was released in 2006, I bet Sacha Baron Cohen never dreamed what impact it would have and how often it would be mentioned in Australian political discourse
