Sarah Palin And Alec Baldwin Just Awkwardly Met On The SNL 40th Anniversary Red Carpet, Openly Despised Each Other

The Saturday Night Live 40th anniversary special is getting underway in New York at the moment, and it’s attracted a massive and diverse crowd of comedians, actors, musicians and general hangers-on who’ve fallen into SNL’s orbit at some point. One of the more unlikely pairings came on the pre-event red carpet, where 16-time SNL host and 30 Rock star Alec Baldwin came face-to-face with former Republican Vice Presidential candidate and butt of Tina Fey’s relentless mockery Sarah Palin. They do not seem to like each other very much.
It’s worth revisiting at this point just how friggin’ great Fey’s Palin impression was. Ships passing in the night.
