This Poor Guy Named Peter Dutton Is Getting Flooded With Abuse From Aussies On Twitter
"I wish the people of Australia would look at my profile and realize I’m a 30 yr old black man before sending me tweets and DMs."
Peter Dutton is copping a lot of hate today. And no, we’re not talking about the wannabe Prime Minister Peter Dutton who’s currently wheeling and dealing in Canberra. We’re talking about the 30-year-old American popcorn company founder who’s currently being inundated with abuse from angry Australians on Twitter.
That’s right, meet the unarguably superior Peter Dutton, who has one wish for the people of Australia, specifically, “I wish the people of Australia would look at my profile and realize I’m a 30 yr old black man before sending me tweets and DMs”. Oops.

We can only imagine what it must be like to share the name Peter Dutton on Twitter on a day like today, but Dutton 2.0’s tweets give us a bit of an insight. This poor guy is just a young co-owner of a popcorn business trying to enjoy his day, but already he’s stepped up and volunteered to come and be our Prime Minister, seeing as we so clearly have a vacancy.
Pretty sure my last tweet has made me the leading candidate for PM of Australia.
USA! It’s been real, mate. ✌?

And hey, he’s even promised to provide us with popcorn via Amazon some day. It’s a pity it’ll arrive too late for those of us watching Question Time in the Senate right now.
To all my new Australian friends and family, this has been more than a pleasure! Some of you asked; I’m co-owner of an amazing popcorn company in Texas, @SoulFoodPopcorn! We’ll be on Amazon in Australia one day. Stay strong, mates! https://t.co/f6s82ggHhg pic.twitter.com/EJcM7LPMSC
