Pass It On: This Guy Gave His Grinchy Friend The “Best Christmas Ever” By Wrapping Up His Room

Christmas is now just 11 sleeps away and you’re really running out of time to buy terrible, unwanted gifts for your friends and family. When are you going to get to the store and score your dad those shitty novelty socks he hates? How will your mum live without a new bath bomb? You really do need to make that annual trip into JB Hi-Fi and blow your rent money on vouchers for distant teenage relatives whose names you can’t remember.

Thankfully, one guy from Dublin may have now solved these problems. Knowing that his friend (who incidentally hates Christmas) was about to come home via a 30-hour flight from Sydney, he coated his entire bedroom and all his possessions in festive wrapping paper. Though it may seem like a bit of an annoying prank, the more you think about it the more sense it makes.

Why disappoint someone with junk they don’t want? Why battle Christmas shopping crowds at all? All the shit your friends and family already like is sitting in their house waiting for you to wrap up. It’s genius.

Importantly, this totally works for that shitty Secret Santa present you have to get as well.
